Abergavenny Judo club is run by Paul Addis. Paul has been practising judo for over 20 years and is a 2nd Dan Black Belt. He is a qualified Club Coach (Level 2) of the British Judo Association. Paul has instructed multiple students to Black Belt standard as well as medal success at International level.


The Club teaches traditional judo skills and the latest competition techniques to both young and old, the energetic and the not so energetic!


The club has been established for over 30 years, it was first started by Mr. Terry Edmunds (6th Dan) and subsequently run by Mr. Derek Rose (1st Dan).
